Share in a day of health and wellness at our Fall Wellness Retreat Day!

Designed to introduce women and men to unique coping strategies they might not have previously used, we have brought together credible and compassionate professionals to lead each of the workshops. Following a healthy lunch, sit quietly or stroll around and enjoy the beauty of Our Lady of Grace.

​This program is offered FREE OF CHARGE but PRE- REGISTRATION is required. Space is limited and attendees will be accepted on first come, first serve basis.  

This program is made possible by the funds received by MWCABC and Plumbing Contractors Association of Long Island.

Grounding and Self-Soothing Through Art Andrea Losito, Art Therapist ATR-BC, LCAT

Worry stones can be used as a grounding tool to help you refocus your attentions on the here and now and improve your ability to self-soothe.  Grounding yourself when feeling anxious or distressed is a great way to help you regulate your emotions and clear your mind.  In this activity, you will paint and decorate a smooth stone, creating a pocket-sized tool for relaxation on the go!

A meditation in motion that leads us into the quiet center of ourselves through gentle movements that can be done standing or seated.  This is a peaceful, relaxing and energy awakening experience that can be done at your own pace.

Music & Rhythm- Pamela Carlton, MS, MT, BC 

Come join us for interactive therapeutic group drumming experience, as we connect with other women in music and rhythm.  Explore your feelings in a supportive environment, on a drum, tambourine, and other interesting instruments! Returning and new participants welcome-no musical experience necessary.

Yoga & Breathwork for body, mind, and heart:

Through this practice, we combine yoga postures and breathwork to awaken a remarkable source of healing power. We align with the live force within and receive therapeutic healing and experience body, mind, heart connection, which is our birthright.  Bring yoga mat if you have one.  All are welcome.

Meditations for Peace of Mind & An Awakened Heart: Karyn Van Name: Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor and Reiki Master

Meditation is for everyone who wishes to have a place to retreat to in the mind and body that releases stress and restores peace. These practices make the peaceful present moment accessible and open us to the wisdom and compassion of your heart. No experience necessary, only curiosity and willingness to give it a go.
